Chapter 1:Parados
It has been days. Or at least, you think it has.
There is no sun or moon, no clocks, no timers- absolutely no way to tell any sort of time.

The only give is the groan of your body. It has grown weary of laying, pacing, picking at miniscule little cat toys.
No matter how many times you try to shut your eyes and drift off, you can never reach a peaceful, restful place. Your drowsy mind is marred by the glaring artificial light.
Paul has not returned.

You have your companions, but many have grown silent and still. The boredom has brought them to the darkest reaches of their own minds.
The light switches off with a gentle CLICK.
You are engulfed in darkness.
You have the instinct to panic, to flee, but your body refuses to move.
There is no solid ground underneath you any longer.

You are falling, over and over, the feeling in your stomach akin to being ripped from a dream.
You can’t see any of the other felines that once shared your air.

It is pitch black darkness in every direction.

Your eyes blur and jitter around the space, eye floaters obscuring your vision and dancing frantically with each movement.
The colors are warping into shapes, if you squint, streaks of light pulse infinitely in every direction. You recall, perhaps, a memory of attempting to see through fresh tears.

You have no way of discerning if any of the shapes or sparks of light and color are real.
Are those your companions? Is Paul there?

Is this what death is like?

Like falling into a dream?
> I'm envious of you all, you know.

> You have 365 days left- the clock starts now.

> After that, Earth will cease to exist.

> Don’t die again, not yet, make it interesting for us.

> Lets enjoy our last encore, shall we?
