When a character reaches 0 HP, their body will die. This is a relinquishing of their entire physical form. They will return to the Absence-Abscess to their room for cooperation and rebirth. With each body death, a character will lose more and more of their personality and humanity. They move towards reducing themselves to their most basic form of raw energy. They can also lose memories during this process.

After each body death, a character will have an opportunity to completely redesign themselves in order to better serve them on their journey. If their feline form still fits them, they are free to be reborn similar to as they were. This is a painful and debilitating process. Unlike humored forms, body death causes the mind and soul to be unstable. If you die with multiple humored forms, you lose them all. A blank slate.

CURRENT REBIRTH REQUIREMENTS:

-Legs: min. 2, max. 4

-Eyes: min. 0, max. 2

-Ears: min. 0, max.2

DO:

-Make cosmetic adjustments only (no functional wings, gills, etc)

-Make no more than ONE large alteration and TWO small alterations. (Large: replacing/adding an entire limb/tail, adding vision glares/effects vs small: miniature versions of limbs/tails/wings, texture additions over less than 30% of the body)

-Texture additions like feathers, scales, etc. are fine 

-Visual effects (i.e. whole body glitter/glow, general fogginess/faintness of the body) are fine

-You must:

-Relinquish one current personality trait or mannerism

-The character's HP threshold will be reduced by 5 points.

-Gain a scar in relation to their most recent body death

-Make at least one alteration (as small as changing the color of a patch of fur is fine)!
